I know a few people who have greyhounds and they are low key with sweet dispositions. Being bred for racing I had the wrong impression that they were high strung but after spending time with a few of them I found it the opposite. If they are not perfect for racing when puppies or after they are raced to death, they usually destroy them.

RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Excerpts taken from Edible Sarasota by Andrea Daniels entitled “Cheap Thrills” who recommends the following places who are reasonably priced:
Maverick Coffee, 4615 S. Tamiami Trail, makes fresh to order crepes
Howlin’ Wolf, 6550 Gateway Avenue, big on breakfast and lunch
Spice Girls, 4141 S. Tamiami Trail, has the largest selection of teas in town plus a Tea Den to sit and enjoy your cup of tea. I have been there a few times and love the smells and the tea den. They have over 500 organic herbs and spices to choose from as well.
Shoogie Boogie, Garden Room Cafe in Towles Court which serves magical desserts and finger sandwiches.
Lan’s, located downtown at 1568 Main St. offers late night dining options with over a dozen choices under $12.
